"The Movement of the Simplification of Spelling in the English Language" [ send me this paper ] A 7 page overview of the move to change the way we spell in the English language. While in the U.S. and the U.K. alike changes in spelling have been attempted to be implemented via a formal route, for the most part change has only occurred informally.
